My client a leading software provider based in Swindon requires an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support the company's systems and infrastructure. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for the project management of development/ changes to the company's systems and day to day operations of the IT Infrastructure. Key responsibilities will include, managing and supporting the internal telephone system, manage the anti-virus and proxy server systems, plan and manage IT budget, develop and maintain in house procedures. On a technical level you will ideally be MCSE qualified, have strong knowledge of Microsoft Client and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Applications, Sage CRM, Active Directory, Cisco - firewalls and switches, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix. This role would suit an individual who has been in a similar role or someone who is looking to take a step up from carrying out most of the tasks mentioned.
